Compliance

Insurance, COI & Compliance

Everything your office needs before a subcontractor is allowed on the site. Ask and it is sent — this should not be the thing that delays your start.

The short version

Fully insured

Commercial coverage in force. A certificate of insurance is issued on request, naming whatever certificate holder your project requires.

USDOT 4409405

Registered motor carrier. Verifiable in the federal SAFER system under Yoders Grapple Services LLC.

Florida LLC

Yoders Grapple Services LLC, a Florida limited liability company registered with the Division of Corporations.

Permitted disposal

Material goes to permitted disposal and recycling facilities. Documentation available where your job needs it.

Requesting a certificate of insurance

Most general contractors, property managers and municipalities need a COI on file before a vendor is cleared. We deal with this constantly and it does not need to be complicated.

Call or email and give us:

  • The exact certificate holder name and address as your project requires it — get this from your own compliance paperwork rather than guessing, because a wrong name means a reissue
  • Any additional insured wording required
  • The project name or number, if it needs to appear
  • Where to send it — direct to you, or to a compliance portal

Ask early rather than the morning we are due on site. Insurance offices work business hours; we work 24/6, and the gap between the two is the only thing that can hold up a job.

Why we hire out the service and not the truck

People ask whether they can rent the grapple truck and run it themselves. The answer is no, and the reason is worth stating because it is the same reason your own insurer cares.

When you hire us, you are hiring a service: truck, grapple and operator as one unit, under our coverage, operated by someone who has done it thousands of times. Nobody from your crew touches the controls, so nobody from your crew is exposed and your policy is not being asked to cover equipment operation it was never written for.

It is simpler for you and it is why the certificate is straightforward to issue.

Site safety

We follow the site rules you give us — gate procedures, sign-in, PPE requirements, designated routes, working hours. Tell us the superintendent’s name and how the site runs, and we will fit into it rather than around it.

The material safety line is simple: we do not accept hazardous waste, asbestos or regulated abatement material, chemicals, liquids, appliances containing refrigerant, or household garbage. If any of that is mixed into a pile we may decline the load on site, so flag it beforehand and we will work out how to handle it.
