A county that has been through it
Charlotte County has absorbed more than its share of storm damage, and anyone who worked here in the aftermath of a major hurricane remembers the same thing: cutting crews came from everywhere, and there were nowhere near enough trucks to move what they cut. Debris sat on rights of way for months.
That is the gap we are built to fill. We are close enough to be useful here — a straight run south down I-75 or US 41 — and we run 24 hours a day, Monday through Saturday. Tree companies working Charlotte County who expect to need overflow hauling should have our number before the season, not during it.
The ordinary weeks too
Storms are not the only reason to call. Port Charlotte’s established sections have decades of canopy that periodically needs taking down, and the material off a mature removal there is the same wood volume as anywhere else. Punta Gorda Isles is canal-front with tight lots and controlled access, which is a planning job more than a hauling one. Rotonda and Placida run to palm and coastal vegetation — light, bulky and a nuisance without a grapple.
There is also ongoing residential development pushing east, which means clearing debris coming off lots on a regular basis.
Scheduling
Charlotte is a genuine drive south, so it schedules like Hillsborough does: plan it a day ahead rather than counting on same-day, and it works best when there is volume behind it. If you are in Englewood or on the North Port line, you are close enough to the county boundary that we can often be more flexible — call and ask.
